This week, the only thing that is certain for businesses is uncertainty. As most of our clients are sole traders, self employed, or company owners, we can see that there are a lot of challenges out there that they will have to overcome in the next couple of months. Building a funnel might not hit you as a number one priority right now, but – in fact that might be a way of surviving in your business. Here are some reasons why moving your business online might be a great idea. We had two clients cancelling their enrollment, and another one was in the office when 1/3 of their income disappeared at least for the next 6 weeks.

These are challenging times, and businesses have to go through a virtual FIRE CEREMONY. If you walk on and find positivity, you will come out stronger on the other end. However, if you stop, you are going to burn yourself.

Moving Your Offline Sales Funnels Online

We work with coaches and consultants, and networking is one of their main lead sources. They also carry out meetings and train people in person. Unfortunately, most of the meetings and networking events, conferences have been cancelled at least six years ahead. This means that our clients will need to find a way to supplement their income and replace the services with online offers. At the same time, an increasing number of people will be looking for online lead generation methods, so they can follow up and deliver the service digitally. If you have been putting off developing a digital marketing sales funnel, this might be the right time.

Offering the Same Service Remotely

One of the things you can do during the pandemic – especially if you are self-isolating – is to move your services online. I had a client in on Tuesday and he asked what about his upcoming workshops. I answered: “just move them online, make them more inclusive due to lower price, and you might be able to attract new people”. He is also offering help in my group. In fact, the response from business owners gathering there was amazing! Just have a look at how much help and support everyone offered:

Setting Up Your Training

I have been putting off launching my Amazon eBook which is the extended version of the free report we offer here, at LMNts Marketing. I simply had no time, as I was busy training new team members and I was getting new orders every week. As we have now reached a point when businesses are thinking about their budget, I decided to finish that book and finally build my online training room that will help those who are looking for guidance, and want to learn everything about marketing their business. You just have to shift your focus. We will also offer coaching sessions and lower level packages, such as content management.

Moving Your Networking Offline

If you were relying on networking mostly to generate leads to your business, it is important that you open your eyes to new opportunities. There are tons of groups on Facebook where you can engage with fellow business owners, help them out, and build relationships. Of course, there are also LinkedIn groups and connections you haven’t spoken to for a while. Check in with people, see if they need anything, offer to connect them with other people online, and generally be helpful. Don’t try to monetise on the coronavirus pandemic: just find a new way to deliver value.

Replacing The Income Streams that Dried Up

If one or more of your income streams have dried up, you might have a great opportunity to build a new one quick. Sales funnel development might be one of the best investments in your marketing; you can create an automated system that will deliver you leads and build relationships; not only during the crisis, but for many years to come.

Reinventing Your Business Model

Sometimes the impact of the crisis can be longer. If you are in the travel industry, for example, you might want to change your niche, as flights are likely to be less available for a long time to come, and people are not going to be able to afford holidays. It is time to think and brainstorm what your ideal client might need during the aftermath of the coronavirus crisis, and think outside the box, too.

As I mentioned, we are offering free ideal client consultations. If you are thinking about the future of your business and need to make some changes, get yourself booked in to one of our sessions, so you can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
