Prospects register for the webinar and provide their contact details, and then the business can follow up with additional offers or nurture them further.You can also decide to make a one-time offer at the end of the webinar and close sales straight after with a well-designed sales page.


Social Media Funnel

This type of funnel utilises social media platforms as the primary channel to attract and engage leads. It often involves targeted advertising, content promotion, and lead capture forms or landing pages. Often, you don’t even need to have a landing page to get leads; you can carry on following up on social media with people who signed up through the form with their details. The downside of this funnel is that you might not get their email address, only their social media account. This method, however, is great for one-off campaigns, such as challenges and launches. Of course, every effective sales funnel strategy starts with a mind map. This is our favourite activity of the whole process. Drawing digital marketing funnels is a great activity and an excellent way of mapping the process, visualising the steps, so the client and the designer can be on the same page. Below you will find a few maps with an explanation of each step, so you can hopefully understand more about mastering hands-off lead generation in digital marketing. 


Funnel Map for Workshops and Memberships – GrooveFunnels Lead Generation in Digital Marketing 

We created this funnel map with the end result in mind: growing the membership base of the client and increasing their residual income. To do that, we had to loop together existing offers that were kind of just sitting there in their Groovefunnels account. 


The problem we faced was that there was little or no follow up and there was no consistency when it came to making an offer straight after the prospect made a commitment and got a download. So, we came up with a solution to gear everything around the signup, and get people to attend live events, as – according to the client – that was the best source of new members for the community. 


By just adding a couple of email sequences here and there, writing a compelling copy, and adding the call-to-actions, we could increase the signup rates and create a system that will work for many years to come. Of course, we couldn’t have done it without understanding the client’s goals and aspirations, that’s why collaboration is extremely important. 


Content Marketing and Branding Company – Specialist Funnel – Lead Generation and Sales

We took a different approach for Business to Business lead generation here. We used LinkedIn to generate the leads, and integrated the process into the CRM system so the sales team can pick up on the list and follow up after the initial emails have been delivered. 


The main goal of the campaign was to create enough consultation appointments to convert. There was no point trying to sell anything in the beginning of the funnel, as the solution was complicated to understand. That’s why booking a free demo was essential. Therefore, we focused on the free booking option, instead of creating a separate landing page. 


When building an effective lead generation marketing funnel, it is important that you understand the company’s sales processes. Otherwise, it will not work for the organisation, and they will end up losing money instead of making it. 


Property Investment Firm Lead Generation and Sales Funnel

This was a somewhat complicated funnel but a great design. As the client had different offers/courses/packages, we had to focus heavily on segmentation. The entire funnel started with a quiz, which was determining whether the visitor was qualified for one or more offers. If they were, they were put on a separate list where they got their nurturing sequence and were provided with an offer. 


There was an extra step added, as it was a trust based business; a webinar registration. So, in this case, we created a funnel for multiple income streams; investors, those interested in learning about property investment (course), and those who were interested in getting properties sourced only and gain access to the database. 


So, as you can see you can build a lead generation funnel as simple or complicated as you want. But what you have to remember is to always start with the end result in mind.
